Our Niche: Fire Damage Claims
If we had to name our niche, it would be fire damage claims — and for good reason. A fire claim is one of the most complex losses a policyholder will ever face. They involve structural damage, smoke and soot infiltration, water damage from firefighting efforts, and typically the full range of policy coverages: Dwelling, Personal Property, Loss of Use or Loss of Rents, Debris Removal, and more. Properly identifying, documenting, and presenting the full scope of a fire damage claim requires a level of expertise that few adjusters are equipped to deliver. That complexity demands precision, and it is precisely the kind of claim our team was built to handle — these are the claims where experience is not optional, and where Claim Concepts has always been at its best.
That same depth of expertise is what makes our team the go-to choice for all large and complex property damage claims — residential and commercial alike. Whatever the cause of your loss, we bring the same level of thoroughness and aggressive advocacy that has defined our approach to fire claims since 2006.

Greg Hoover went above and beyond to help me with a claim even though I was not their client. He pointed me in the best direction to get the help I needed for my claim, spent hours and did not charge me anything. This company really cares about helping people. Greg proved to me there are decent folks that work to do the right thing even though it may not benefit their company’s bottom line. Thank you Greg!
Kyle Rains- GoogleClaim Concepts deserves the highest praise. Eric Thomas and his associates took care of a very complicated claim for us when a massive oak tree fell on our 1910 house. The initial estimate from the adjuster was completely inadequate, less than a quarter of our policy limits. All the contractors we talked to said it would cost at least 4x the estimate to repair and that it would be cheaper and easier to rebuild instead of repair. Insurance would not revise their estimate, wanted us to select a contractor and begin work and then submit supplement requests for additional money as needed.
It was at this point that we engaged Eric. He was able to quickly submit a counter estimate with a proper accounting for all damage and the full scope of repairs needed. He fought on our behalf for almost 8 months, and finally the insurance declared the dwelling a total loss and paid limits.
I cannot express how grateful we are for Eric's work and also for our decision to hire him. Our only regret is that we didn't hire him sooner! If you have a large claim on your hands, you need to seriously consider hiring a public adjuster. There's absolutely no way that we would have made it through this without Claim Concepts! - Adam Ferguson- Google
Eric did an amazing job getting us what we needed to repair our home from water damage. The insurance company was really making it difficult and refusing to pay what was needed to repair our house. Eric was able to help get more than what I anticipated so we could put our house back together. I would most definitely recommend using Claims Concepts to anyone that needs assistance with their claim.
Jana N.- GoogleEric Thomas, from Claim Concepts did a wonderful job getting me the money I needed to fix up my home after Ian. It took awhile, but I was more than satisfied with my settlement. He also took all my calls throughout and kept me from settling for a lowball offer from the insurance company. In fact, everyone I dealt with at Claim Concepts was wonderful to work with. So many of my friends had terrible experiences with their Public Adjusters. I was so lucky to find them and would highly recommend them.

This is the only way to go if you have an insurance claim. Greg & Eric know exactly what to do and they do it efficiently and document/communicate during the process. They fully understand the insurance claim process and they eliminate the stressfulness of claim handling. I recommend Claim Concepts to all!
LouAnne M.- GoogleAfter significant damage from hurricane Ian and very little compensation from our insurance carrier after meticulously providing descriptions and photos, we decided we needed help. We took a chance on Claim Concepts, not ever needing assistance on a claim so we had never had any experience. It took several months and we wondered if our claim was going anywhere but we realized Eric and his crew were on it. We received our check from the insurance provider a few weeks ago and we’re more than pleased. Thank you Claim Concepts and Eric and his team. The Millers
Debbie Jenkins- GoogleWe have a cabin in Blairsville, Georgia that had a bathroom water leak that caused quite a bit of damage. The cabin had not had anyone in it for months....the wooden floors were black with mold and there was extensive damage. Our deductible was $7,600.00. After sending a rep out to assess the damage our insurance company assured us that the damage wasn't even close to that amount so it would be futile for us to put in a claim. Yeah, well that was ridiculous so we contacted Claim Concepts. They were awesome to work with. The claim ended up being $28,000.00. Big difference!! I would recommend using Greg and Eric at Claim Concepts any time you have an insurance problem. They were both so patient and helpful!! Hopefully we will not need to hire them again, but would in a heartbeat if needed!!

Step 1 - THE DISCUSSION
Your Claim, Our Strategy – It all begins with a no-obligation, in-depth review of your claim. We know that by the time most clients reach us, they’ve already experienced confusion, frustration, or a settlement offer that simply didn’t feel right. Exhaustive Inspection & Document Review – Once we partner, our team immediately gets to work on your claim. We dive deep into your policy to ensure we fully understand how it applies to your specific loss, while carefully reviewing all existing estimates, photos and documentation. We then conduct an exhaustive, technology-driven inspection of the property using advanced field tools to document every aspect of your loss, ensuring nothing gets overlooked.
Step 3 - THE DEMAND
Estimate Preparation & Submission – We develop a comprehensive, line-item estimate utilizing industry-standard software, subjecting it to a rigorous three-tier review process covering field accuracy, technical precision, and compliance, to ensure nothing is missed. Once completed, we share it with you for your review, input and approval before submitting our entire claim package to the insurance company as The Demand.
Step 4 - THE NEGOTIATIONS
Expert Negotiation, Focused on Your Best Outcome – We stand strong on your behalf, skillfully negotiating for the resolution you need and deserve. When negotiations stall, we don’t back down, we guide you through your available dispute resolution options, to keep your claim moving toward the outcome you deserve.

Successful Resolution, Your Satisfaction is Key: The final step, this is what everything has been building toward. A fair resolution isn’t just our goal, it’s our standard. Our clients’ outcomes speak for themselves, and yours will too!
CLAIM QUESTIONS? WE HAVE ANSWERS
Peace of mind! We are here to represent you and your interest in the claim. Unfortunately, insurance companies often times deny claims that should be paid or do not pay enough money on a covered claim. This is not always the case and even when it is it may not be intentional. I know that most adjusters have the best of intentions but sometimes they may be inexperienced or simply trained to see things one way, the way the big insurance company wants it to be seen. As Public Adjusters our number one job is to get you the largest settlement available to you under your policy with the insurance company.
NO. Most states have laws stating that Public Adjusters are not allowed to represent the insurance companies. At Claim Concepts, we only represent the insuring public.
The public adjuster is employed by you, the insured. Their function is to represent your interests and ensure that you recover the proper settlement for all of your losses per the terms of your insurance policy. The insurance company’s adjuster works for the insurance company and is responsible to protect their interests throughout the claim.
Public Adjusters typically work on a contingency basis which equals a small percentage of any money recovered by the insurance company.
NO! This is NOT required under any policy that I have seen to date and I do not recommend it. In the event of a loss it is best to employ a Reputable Public Adjuster that knows what the policy will cover and what it takes to get your property back to its pre-loss condition. Many contractors will provide you with a competitive bid to make repairs but not necessarily get your property back to its pre-loss condition.
Yes! In most cases we can reopen your file with a supplemental claim. There are many factors involved. Give us a call and we will be happy to offer you a free claim consultation.
Not necessarily. It is not recommended to file a claim every time you spill a glass of water as you may become classified as a nuisance claim maker. Property insurance is typically rated based on your area which is why all homeowner rates increased in Florida after the hurricanes, whether you filed a claim or not. The risk is more related to the area where your property is located and in commercial situations the use of the property. However, it is known that there are databases where claim activity is logged and each insurance company may have their own stipulations based on claim activity of the individual or the property. Ultimately, you buy insurance to protect you in the time of a loss. If you are debating whether you should file a claim or not, please feel free to call and speak with one of our Public Adjusters about your particular situation, we are always happy to help.
Do not do anything before having a qualified Public Adjuster or Attorney take a look at your file. Depending on the way everything is written you may be agreeing to their offer by depositing the check. Please call our office and speak with one of our Public Adjusters about your particular situation, we are always happy to help in any way we can.
