IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VICTIMS OF RECENT FLORIDA FLOODING:
If you have a flood claim through the NFIP it is ESSENTIAL that you file a Signed Proof of Loss within 60 days of the date of loss unless they offer an extension but do not count on them offering the extension. Failure to file the proper forms in the time frame as indicated in the policy could result in your claim being denied. Do not count on the Flood Adjuster to take care of this or advise you of the same, it is your responsibility to follow all post loss obligations as stated in the policy.
