Emergency Service Water Extraction Companies

Be very cautious when engaging an Emergency Services Company.  Unfortunately, these companies do not have to be licensed in the same manner as Contractors and Adjusters which means they do not have any governing body watching over them.  Of course there are many reputable Emergency Service Companies out there but there are just as many that I would not consider to be reputable.  Many of the contracts these companies utilize will assign over the benefits of your policy to them.  Read everything carefully and do not sign a contract without knowing exactly what it is for and an amount, also be sure that you understand if the contract is for emergency services only or if they are including to build it back as well.  Remember, the claim may or may not be a covered loss and you may ultimately be on the hook for their bill.  Often times these companies will also offer to “represent you” through the claim and consider themselves to be “claim experts”, this is illegal as the only people that can truly represent you in regards to your claim are Public Adjusters and Attorneys.
